Yesterday, I opened my email and nearly fell out of my chair — the subject line read: “You Just Won $2,000 in TikTok Ad Credits!”
Wow!
Honestly, I still can’t believe it. I quit using TikTok when it was banned in the US. When it came back, they ran this million-dollar ad credit giveaway for small businesses, and I thought, “Why not?” So, I created a new account, filled out the form on a whim, and promptly forgot about it. I never even posted!
Well… the odds must have been in our favor, because now we have $2,000 in ad credits — but they expire July 31st! So here I am, scrambling to get our TikTok account looking active and brainstorming what videos to share (or boost) to help more people find our mission.
And because life loves a good plot twist, I’m also in the middle of moving our Hoofbeats of Hope community to a new platform — it needs to be done in the next few days to avoid paying for two at once.
So, if I seem a bit frazzled, now you know why. I’m overwhelmed, but so incredibly excited for what’s ahead.
Wish me luck — and if you’ve got ideas for gentle, horse-themed TikToks or words of encouragement, drop them below. Better yet, let me know on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@healinghorsetouchco ! Every bit of support helps!
Let’s see what this unexpected blessing can do for Healing Horse Touch and Hoofbeats of Hope.

Perfect time to break free.
This Independence Day, let’s celebrate more than fireworks and freedom won long ago — let’s honor the freedom we can claim for ourselves, right here and now.
It’s the perfect time to break free. Break free from the weight of old wounds, from habits that hold you back, from the lies that say you’re not enough. Break free from limited thinking and the shadows of oppression — in the world and within your own mind.
Freedom isn’t just a date on the calendar. It’s a choice, a breath, a single brave step in a new direction.
May you find the courage to open that gate wide — to walk forward lighter, freer, and more true to who you really are.
Happy Independence Day to every soul longing to be free.

With the TikTok ad grant, I’ve decided to play more with video creation. Bob gave me ideas add flair to this one, but I couldn’t find suitable pictures. Then, I asked AI to generate video clips for me based on his suggestions… We love it! what do you think?

This one is getting a lot of love on TikTok
I wrote: No, horses can’t fix everything. They’re not unicorns. But if you’ve ever stood beside one—breathed in their quiet strength, felt their steady heartbeat, or looked into those deep, knowing eyes—you know they can help us carry the weight.
At Healing Horse Touch, we don’t promise magic. We promise presence. We offer a space to be seen, soothed, and supported—one gentle moment at a time.
Whether you’re struggling with overwhelm, healing from trauma, or just need a breath of peace in a chaotic world, you’re not alone. Come as you are. Let the horses meet you there.
Watch the video. Feel the truth. Then follow us for more stories, healing moments, and heart-deep hope.

July Flowers
You can always tell who does the mowing — I’m the only one who spares the flowers. I love these chicory blooms, don’t you? I’ll move them to a better location one of these days…
There’s something so gentle about letting beauty grow where it wants to. Maybe it’s a reminder for us too: not everything needs to be trimmed back or made tidy. Sometimes, the wild things — the blooms we didn’t plan for — are what make life feel most alive.
Do you have little ‘wildflowers’ in your life that you choose to let grow?
I was able to put away more hay than expected yesterday—woohoo! And thank goodness, too, because we were hit with a surprise downpour last night that I definitely wasn’t prepared for. More than half of the remaining hay bales ended up getting wet, even though they were tarped. Unfortunately, the tarp was older and hadn’t been secured tightly for wind. I figured we were in for a passing shower… not a house-shaking thunderstorm with drenching rain!
Ah well. If I can grab a couple of new tarps today to cover things up before the next round of rain tonight, I’m hopeful most of the bales will dry out again.
Still, I’m genuinely thrilled about how much I managed to stack in the shed—over 50 bales! That’s a huge win. I found myself smiling through most of it, thinking about how difficult this task was last year when my iron levels were depleted and my body was running on empty. Yesterday, I had the energy and drive to keep going—it was actually my fingers that gave out before my strength did!
This one bale really captured how I feel right now. Normally, when something goes wrong, bales tend to break on one side or just completely fall apart. But this one? It folded in half and still held together. I’ve never seen that happen before—and it honestly felt like a little message from above.
Resilience doesn’t always mean staying perfectly upright. Sometimes, it’s about bending without breaking. Holding your shape, even when you’re forced to fold a little. That’s strength too.
Here’s to staying intact through the storms—however they show up.
July 10
I finished updating my business plan for the 3rd time this month.
Why would I do that? I mean, the redo I did in April was fantastic, right?
It was. But… I changed my priorities just a tad after my last grant review.
Then, Skip created an AI with real time feedback on the changes just in time for their newest biz plan focused grant. 🙂
When I first asked for feedback, I got a 7/10, which is considered “Good”. After A LOT of tweaking, I now have a 10/10 score! Bob says I can stop now. I do have plenty else to perfect…
Next up, I’m working on my elevator pitch for a couple of grant proposals. If accepted, I’ll need to perfect my presentation/slide deck. How’s this for a quick proposal? Being conversational on camera is a lot harder than it looks! I don’t think I’m quite there yet, but this one is already due.
